“can you use refurbished ink cartridges with this printer?”

• They might work if you keep the printer off line, but as soon as its connected to the internet it sends information to HP. That would mean you'd be unable to check ink levels, etc., unless you're connected.

• HP does not support using re manufactured cartridges with their printers. This printer has a permanent print head which you would not want to fail, using genuine HP Inks is the best way to ensure a long life. If you want to save money on ink check out Best Buy Easy Replenish or HP Instant Ink!
