Dear User; If I got this right, paperweight for photos means thickness. Placing a card stock paper into this machine would create a jam, but 22 lb and 24 lb paper types should go through without a hitch. Printers of the past could handle card stock so much better than today's models. My advice: be careful. Best of luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used a variety of photo papers and also flyer paper. The printer does have a variety of settings to accommodate various weights of papers. Whenever you open or close the paper tray, the printer will ask if you want/need to change to type of paper and will offer a menu of suggestions.
