Q: QuestionWhat is cost per copy for black and cost per copy for color?
Asked by Deb.
- A:Answer Hello, if you sign up for Instant Ink you pay per page not per amount of ink you use, with a savings of 50%! This printer comes with 6 months of free ink plus an additional 1 year of warranty through the HP+ program. If you choose to forego the free ink you will pay $40.99 for the XL cartridge which yields 825 pages of black, and $22.99 for the color cartridges which yields 825 pages for each color cartridge. Q: QuestionThe scan feature on the control panel only shows Compute and not Email but youtube videos show a email button on the control panel. How can that be fixed, for both connected to a Windows PC and Mac Laptop. Thanks.
Asked by bana.
- A:Answer Hello. Thanks for your question. The scan to email function has been removed from the control panel of this printer. The easiest method is to use the HP Smart app to scan to email. You can use the scan option on the HP Smart app to share via email. To make it easier the next time, we recommend using Shortcuts. It allows you to make a shortcut, i.e. a scanned item to be emailed to this email address. Here is more information on the HP Smart app: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03561640 and on the Shortcuts: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06211157
