“I just bought the HP printer with the 8 months of instant ink and can't figure out what I have to do to get the ink; I already had to replace the large black cartridge. Was I supposed to sent something in, sign something, what?”

You have to sign up with HP.com fo4 the instant ink. Leave your printer on and with WiFi on and it sends info on how much ink you’ve used. That’s how they know when to send ink to you.
