There may have been maintenance I could have been doing on the inside of the printer, but it lasted 1-1/2 of heavy use before I had to go with the backup. I'm not exactly sure of the issue but it's been a great printer handling thousands of print jobs in that short time-span.

At last an easy to install printer

It wasn’t that difficult at all, easy instructions to follow with simple diagrams. I am a 72 year old woman and am not at all tech literate. My initial purpose has been for occasional household use. Recently I am using it for my PT job. Easy to make copies from my wireless devices-I phone and 2 IPADS that are all synced. Just press print. Love the the color ink option. So far, I’ve used the print option and haven’t had any print quality issues. It also has a shortcut, scan, mobile fax features that I haven’t needed so far. I received an email that will walk you through those steps and will check that out. The HP account informs you on your connectivity and print status including ink level status. Ink is easy to obtain. Love this printer. ❤️

Easy to connect to all my devices. I did not get the ink replacement plan. I like to have control over my own ink intake. But the printer scanner and copies. Vibrate color display. Easy setup. Simple and amazing.

- A:Answer HP Instant Ink is where you pay for the number of pages print. Not the ink. To take advantage of this promotion, you just need to register at HTTP://www.hpinstant.com. The 8 months of ink is based on the 100-page plan from HP Instant Ink. HP Instant Ink is where you pay for the number of pages print. Not the ink. The 100 page plan is normally $4.99 a month. So with the 8 months, that is a $40 credit. You can technically choose any of the three plans, but the number of months would change. For example, if you chose the $2.99 plan (50 pages a month), the 2-year plan would last about 13 months. The $9.99 plan (300 pages a month) would last about 4 months. HP will send you more ink before you need it. So, it does not matter what you actually print on the page. It is just the number of pages that are being counted based on the plan you chose.

- A:Answer Never really measured, however, in one month, I printed 375 pages - photos and documents and just replaced all color and black. Although the cartridge is smaller than the previous printer that used HP 950/951/XL's....it seems to use the same to less ink, and quality I print at is the 'Best' option selected.
