• I only have used the normal 8x11 paper so don't know. It does print both sides as long as your computer program it set for it.

• 1) On the flatbed scanner, you can scan up to 8.5 x 11 inches. On the auto document feeder, you can scan up to 8.5 x 14 inches. 2) Yes, this printer can print on both sides automatically.
