- Answer I paid $69.99 last week during a flash sale. Before that it was $99.99 and $89.99 on different sales during the past couple months. Not sure if they are phasing out this model or not, but the price is certainly reasonable.

- Answer I have used one of these printers for about 2 yrs and with heavy use. We have not had a printhead problem (the very problem that led us to purchasing a new machine). I don't think they have a replaceable printhead in them. If they do I have not found it. Oh, and I do have the 8610 in my house but use a 8620 at work.

- Answer Not sure if this helps or not, however until very recently, I was using an HP Officejet PRO 8600 printer on a 32-bit XP system. Now I am using an HP Officejet PRO 8610 on a 64-bit Windows 10 system. I can't imagine that it would not work on XP 64-bit

- Answer Great question. I am sorry that you experienced problems with your printer. I am not aware of any printhead issues with the OfficeJet 8610. However, if you do experience any manufacturer defects with the printer, it is covered by the 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty. I hope this helps!

QuestionTrouble with photo paperI'm trying to print multiple photos on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of photo paper and the printer struggles to grab the paper and it only ends up printing like the bottom half of the sheet. Any suggestions?

QuestionWill it print a document that is 9.50" x 14" ?I have old high school newspapers that were printed on 9.50" x 14" and I am having a difficult time finding a printer/scanner/copier so I can make copies for friends and family. Hope you can find one that will work for me. Thanks!

- Answer I don't have this printer, but your inquiry about the scanning size of school newspapers is similar to a large project I had recently. I have a HP Photosmart and had to save hundreds of actual news-clippings my great grandfather collected from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Many were too large for my flat-bed, so I had to solve this by reducing the size and/or making two copy-runs (for entire newspaper headlines: "WORLD WAR I HAS ENDED", ) etc . I actually used an entire ream of paper, plus a portion of another ream. They came out very well. The darker ones, I reduced the density several times, and they printed lighter and looked very good. Hope this might help you think of a solution. LOL

QuestionHow to test the 8610 with documents on a flash driveI want to compare the print quality of the 8610 to other printers, so I created three jpg files (letter, news letter, photo) and put them on a msdos formatted flash drive. The 8610 acknowledges the 3 files, but says they are corrupt. We checked the files on a store computer, and they are fine. What is going on and how do I get this to work.
