using the omen software you can set you fan curves or peaks. at full 100% they have a decent "well those fans are runnin for sure". i personally have my curve set to go no higher than 75% and i only notice them if im playing something intense like cyberpunk or red dead, but regular games or older games i dont hear the fans at all. i dont much use premier or anything like that though so i cant comment on that. but all in all this is my second gaming laptop and its definitely quieter than the first one i had

I wouldn't say they make "a lot" of noise, but if you're running software that really works the processor, you will be able to hear them, although to be honest, I've got to really listen for them for the noise to be noticable.
