“How do I connect a SECOND EXTERNAL monitor to this laptop? The first is connected through HDMI. I have a USB C hub with HMDI out for the second external monitor but its not being detected. The hub works fine to connect my phone. Is there a setting?”

Thanks for your question. You would not be able to connect a second monitor through the USB-C hub, as this USB-C port on the laptop does not have video out. You could possibly use an HDMI splitter to get a second video out, but it would be a mirror of the first monitor, and not an extended display.
