“I've seen in other questions that the SSD can be removed and replaced with a 1TB model. I have 2 follow ups: Can anything else such as RAM, power, processing, etc be replaced, by servicing or at home, and to what extent if either? Thank you in advance!”

Yes you can. The back of the case is removable and you can replace the existing SSD with a higher capacity model as well as the RAM. The system can be upgraded to 32GB. An authorized service provider can help you with this as well.
