I connected a 2nd monitor with a 6 ft. high quality vga cable. I'm getting full 1920 x 1080 on the vga monitor. I'm very happy with the resolution. It looks as good as HDMI to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect one monitor to the HDMI port and get higher resolution on your monitor, while also connecting a second monitor to the VGA port with lower resolution. ( I have not tested to make sure it will do both a tthe same time.) If you get a different graphics card, you can get a better one to install in the PCIe slot and you'll get more than one HDMI port. Be prepared to also upgrade the power supply though, and it's not a standard ATX size, so make sure to get the correct size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add a GPU which allows you to run two monitors at high resolutions.
