Best upgrade into new wireless HP computer has helped me better navigate the internet, make family videos, faster movie downloads and multi-task between different applications. It's practically silent, doesn't take up much space, keyboard is wireless, mouse is wireless and the thing of all it is Wi-Fi ready. Happy to have a computer that fulfills many technology based necessities.

i thought that nothing could replace my former PC (which died after over 7 years of constant use) but i am actually thrilled with this new HP pc ! It was so easy to set up, a 5 year old could do it. And, there are not a lot of garbage advertisements and unwanted files programmed into it. Just a few quality things like Office 360 that one can look at on your own without any annoying pop-ups. Thank you for this beautiful PC ! *Lots of bang for the buck too.*

Love it very fast, like a gaming computer, runs great, speed is unreal, can game or download very fast. Great computer. Great price. I always try to buy from best buy because of their policies, and speed of shipping.

I bought this computer for work purposes. The computer I was going to be issued was like 10 years old! Got this on sale and hook up was a breeze. Most of our work files are word and excel documents, plus email. There are some programs that needed to be installed. Computer has been running 10hrs a day for the past week and have had absolutely no issues. It does take up some space, but with the desk setup I have, that is not an issue. I do still prefer the all-in-ones for home/personal use.

After debating to upgrade my old HP computer I went this time with the HP Pavillion. It was a challenge at first but after some tinkering I found this to be a great purchase. I love it!

Very easy to install the new computer. I would add more, but I'm still trying to get familiar with Windows 10 after using Windows 7 for many, many years.

I have bought three of this same model PCs and on two of them I have had a Thermal Event problem. It is not constant event, It's a random error. I don't really want to return this PC because from the specifications it looks and runs really fast. However, that thermal event is something to consider. By the way, one of them I had to return and get a new one because it never turned on. Seems like the power supply was dead even before the first use. I don't recommend anyone to buy this PC.

We bought this computer to replace the previous one when the hard drive crashed. I think the HP Pavilion we selected has plenty to offer. It is surprising light and is definitely smaller in size, a definite plus on a small desk . It has one of the few computers we found that still have a CD/DVD slot plus it has an SD reader and, several USB slots. it even has the new small slot that works with my new Pixel 3 smartphone. The specs are impressive considering the sale price we paid. It has an Intel Core i5 and 12GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive and a 128GB Solid State Drive. Those were all the specs that I had decided we needed to look for in a new computer, so I was very pleased with this machine. We feel that this computer will serve our needs very well.

my last computer was a dell and it lasted me 10 yrs before slowing down on me. It was hard to shop for a new one. but after much research I finally decided on this hp. I spend a lot of time on the internet, working, playing, researching, and communicating. this computer keeps up with all of my needs as far as speed and storage are concerned. I store a lot of photos and documents and so far it hasn't slowed down or shown any problems with space. it boots up super fast and is not bogged down with software. I often have 10-12 tabs open at a time switching back and forth between them all and I really feel like I blink slower than it takes to switch between them. it is quiet. and the wireless accessories are awesome.I hate wires &this thing has virtually none. I would buy this all over again and I have already suggested it to a couple of friends.

Recently purchased and am in process of learning its capabilities. It is meeting all expectations. I wanted to larger memory and ssd drive to improve performance. I upgraded from an older model laptop. The speed increase was enormous. What I found was how user friendly this system performs. I originally thought price was my motivator yet I have been more than satisfied with the system.

Computer starts and re-starts VERY quickly due to the solid state drive. Processes run quickly and everything I have done so far is smooth and error-free. Chassis is light and fairly attractive and has decent connections available. Comes loaded with some bloatware like HPs do, but not terribly onerous. The wireless mouse and keyboard are convenient and connected without a hitch, but the whole thing feels pretty minimalist. The keyboard has a very limited footprint and the power supply is reported to be underpowered (which doesn't affect me) but everything works well. Then there is Windows 10... can't escape it, but it is a step down from previous versions for an office environment to me. Overall a good product, but limited in expandability and not super quality construction.

I needed to replace my Win 7 machine that was coming to end of its useful life. After buying a Lenovo that had problems out of the box I returned that and purchased this HP. The machine is blazing fast compared to my win 7 machine. Of course that is due to the SSD. After the initial setup I start to transfer photos and documents to the hard drive or so I thought. This HP defaults to the SSD for everything that is loaded. I googled how to select the D drive. Win 10 can setup to send all data to the D drive. during the initial setup that did not come up as an option. Poor setup execution on HP's part. I am going to have the reload the pictures and documents on the D drive. Not a deal breaker, the setup procedure could have been thought out better. What really irritates me is the DVD/CD drive. First, the drive does not show up under My Computer. I found that the drive will only show if there is a disc in the drive. HUH? The drive is really slow because the initial setup does not let you choose how to deal with the various types of DVD/CD's. Unlike Win 7 where the OS would show a dialogue box asking you what you want to do with the disc, Win 10 does no such thing. I finally found out that the default settings for the DVD/CD drive is to do NOTHING. You are left waiting there wondering why the drive is not responding. I can hear the drive operating but nothing shows on the monitor. Again this is the fault of HP for not having a proper setup procedure that takes you through each drive. Other than the aforementioned is

I am really happy with this new computer. Tons of memory and speedy because of the additional solid state drive. Beautiful too! The wireless mouse is great... I guess you can tell that this was quite an upgrade for me. The Geek Squad did a good job transferring my files and explaining the features too.

This computer is very compact and it's very fast. It's also about the easiest computer I've ever owned as well. No bugs or quirks in it so far and I hope it stays that way. It's also extremely quiet I don't even know it's on. Plus it was on sale when I bought it. I highly recommend this computer.

Excellent desktop. Bought this new desktop to replace my 9 year old HP that was still functional, but slow and no longer powerful enough for my needs. The Core I5 equipped with 128 SSD and 1TB boots in seconds and I5 has ample power to handle my computing needs, Glad I upgraded!

This is my 2nd HP Pavilion in seven years. It's a smaller unit that delivers the same functions as it's processor. It runs so quietly you don't hear it. Very fast indeed. So far the one flaw I have found is the disk holder is a very awkward and flimsy design. I had to pop the unit's cover back on two days after purchasing the unit. This seams to the industries new standard to cut costs not just on HP's, but all brands. This is why I could not give it 5 stars. Maybe 4 1/2 stars would be a better rating.

Never bought an open box item from Best Buy before. Was having big time issues with my old PC, and driving the Geek Squad nuts with frequent visits and calls for problems that were popping up. Was told I might consider upgrading because of the age of my old dell. They Recommended a new HP and said I should check it out in the store. It was on sale but still a little more than I wanted to pay. Wen home checked on line, found on that was open box and certified for much less than the sale price. I ordered it, it came in the original box. Took it to the store and let the Geek Squad transfer everything. They did a super job, not loosing any files or pictures. Got it home, and can't believe how much faster it is than my old one. And the Solid State is so quiet, now whir like the old Hard Drive.
