The 12GB of RAM and 128GB SSD improve performance on boot up, and starting applications dramatically over Hard Drive only systems. No issues to date, has the performance that I need. It rocks!

The HP 595-p074 performs very well: instant boot, fast read/write, quiet, and quick power-off. Also the desktop has plenty of memory (1TB + 128 GB). It provides many USB ports and CD drive.

This is the first computer I've owned with a solid state drive (ssd). It's super quiet and super fast. I had the Geek Squad put in an extra 4 TB hard drive, as I store a lot of video.

I was previously a Dell user exclusively. However, I took advantage of the pricing and I must say, I'm quite pleased with the HP computer. It's fast, compact and so far very reliable.

I was not planning on buying a new computer until the hard drive died on my windows 8.1 machine. I did not want 10 since half of my programs would not run on it. And they don't. But I had no choice. Went with HP again as I have always gotten long usage out of HPs. It set up easily and I do like the pin rather than a typed password. It found my printer right away. But of course some things won't run and I did replace one but the other is not made anymore so that is history Oddly one very very old piece of software runs on it using XP SP3 compatibility. I was amazed and very happy! It has a different monitor plug than my other HP did. We had a cable here that worked so that solved that issue. All in all, it's a good computer. Very quiet, fast and does most of what I need it to do. I would recommend it.

Not a top of the line computer but it's fast, efficient, and has plenty of storage. Good for everyday use. Used the SSD for the OS and the 1TB drive for music and pictures and such.

Replaced one of many computers in our office. I decided to purchase this computer because of its solid drive and great hard drive space. It was easy to set up and performs GREAT !

my old desktop finally quit on me. a compaq presario from 2005. it came with windows vista. ( of course I upgraded the windows os over the years- vista to 7 to 8 to 10.) all internal parts replaced over the years except the processer and hard drive. lol enough about the old. this desktop is great. super fast. plenty of hard drive space. its very space conscious the core desktop box is so small that you can sit it on top of your desk. the only thing is, all that is included is the core desktop box and wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. you will need to purchase a monitor and any other accessories separately.

Great specs and price - works great with my HP 24 monitor - Easily convertible to gaming laptop with a low power graphics card or a power supply upgrade.

For a low use pc this is a great little desktop. I bought open box for 525.00. For that price it's hard to beat. If you're looking for gaming or maybe a CAD system, keep looking. Primary SSD is too small, power supply is too small. Graphics are weak. For light home use (music, MS Word, net surfing) this is still a great little unit for what I paid. I can only recommend at the price I paid. Full retail is too much. Pay a bit more and get more.

This PC is amazing fast and quiet. comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. the added SSD help make this a great buy.

Absolutely no problems with this computer. Easy to set up. Fast. Sleek design is unobtrusive in home setting. Wireless keyboard and mouse are great assets.

Great PC after a few days use. Quick boot up with the SSD, a few seconds. I loaded it down with applications and the 12GB memory was plenty. My only complaint would be the noisy fan, it has been years since I have owned a tower PC and I am sure this is totally normal. Overall, recommend after a few days use. Time will tell how it holds up.

I picked up this system in the open box section after someone had returned it for some unknown reason so I got a great deal on the system. Overall, I'm very pleased. The computer is very quick with the benefit of Windows running on the SSD and a 1TB storage drive. I have not had any issues and would recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range system that isn't appropriate for gaming but is a great business or home use system.

Best purchase I've made this year so far. I am not an expert in computer at all. When I want to buy a desktop I gotta do lots of research to have a generally idea of what is what =]] So for those that are amateur like me, this HP desktop has a SSD that simply makes things you do faster, I am able to turn the computer on in less than 30 seconds as well as turn it off in about 10 seconds. My computer at work took literally 4-5 minutes to turn on so this is super impressive to me. The wireless keyboard and wireless mouse are also a plus to this purchase. Although I did not know how to put battery in the mouse, I finally saw the instruction printed inside the box. Another plus is that it is light weight. Although the size is not too small, I can definitely tolerate that.

Easy to use east to setup lots memory and big hard drive. Good for everyday use for school kids and good for everyday office work.

I wanted a combination solid state and standard hard drive; this was the best value at the time from my perspective. It is performing well.
