I got this for my business and the combination SSD and 1 terabyte storage. With an i5, 12 GB Ram it runs multiple apps no problem. There are better computers but at under $600 on sale I don't think you could beat the value

My former computer was running Windows 7 and was about 10 years old - too old to easily install Windows 10. I took advantage of our Tax Free Holiday sales and found this HP Pavilion on sale at the right price for me. I love it, though I'm still getting used to all the new software It's fast and takes up less space than my big, old box, and does everything I needed a desktop to do. And it has more memory than I can imagine ever using. All of my peripheral hardware worked seamlessly with the new machine, including my HP printer which is a real dinosaur. Everything was up and running correctly as soon as I plugged it in at home. Right now I'm one happy user.

Bought this machine to replace an HP running Windows 7 since 2003. My first "store bought" desktop was a Packard Bell in about 1995. Have always had great running computers that lasted years beginning with Win 3.0. This new machine has a Solid State Hard Drive, plenty of memory, and boots and restarts really quickly. Use is primarily generic Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Email and Personal finance. Works Great at a great price !!!!!

Being pushed to Windows 10, elected to go new machine route vs 6 year old computer upgrade. The reason for this one was Intel I5 chip and the SSD. Old boot up from hard drive was basically turn machine on, sign on then walk away for 10 minutes. With the SSD its running in 25 sec like the IPADs. Using Windows 10 has become much easier with later versions. Adapting to it was not as hard as I expected. Takes about 2 hours to go through initial startup settings and deleting all the unwanted added software. HP has done a good job of putting this pkg together and pricing competitively. Liked it well enough had my father in law get same unit so I could help him when needed. After loading up Windows , Office and couple of other minor programs, 1/2 of the 125 GB SSD is used up so I make sure we save any data to hard drive. If I had a do over, I would get the next larger size SSD for slightly more money for user who has more programs. Wireless keyboard and mouse or ok, but wife who actually types liked older USB keyboard. Father in law and I like keyboard that came with it since we finger punch.

Very Fast and powerful for basic use. I do web design, music editing and Office publishing and have no problems. Boots up in a few seconds. Plays video streaming very nice. Highly recommended for a fast, reliable PC for most uses except video editing and gaming.

HP has once again produced a deck top PC that is fast, well constructed with a slim design and small enough that you can place on a table , not on the floor. The setup is fast and easy. The 1TB hard-disk is all that I will need for many years of use.

Replaced an aging laptop for use in my office. (Chromebook is my go-to portable unit nowadays.) Can't believe the speed boost from an older i3 to a recent-gen i5! And the SSD makes booting amazingly fast. Plenty of storage. No complaints!

Needed to update our desktop so we purchased the HP Pavilion. Like the design not bulky or heavy. The performance is excellent. When you search the internet and play games it’s very fast, no delays. The price was great too!!

For years, we only bought All-in-one computers. They just made sense. However, after our Asus had some minor problems and we tried to go with some others and had no luck, we decided to give a tower a try. We got so much more for our money by going with a tower computer. This computer has handled every game that we’ve tried on it. It’s super fast and reliable. I do miss having everything I need in one device. Instead, with this we have to buy the speakers, mic, web cam, and everything else separate. But that’s totally ok. Well worth it!! I highly recommend going with a tower computer such as this HP over an All-in-one.

I got this on sale for a very good price. The terabyte drive has plenty of capacity and the solid state 256G drive loads the OS instantly. The tower is small enough to fit anywhere, and has space for a couple of expansion slots. Several USB ports are enough for my dongle and a few cables to hook up accessories.

Excellent speed and size for all the jobs and projects I have. Like the solid state drive with 12GB of RAM memory, it starts and proceeds rapidly. Has ample hard drive for all files I have had in the past.

I bought this desktop a couple of years and its still running great, the only issue that I have is that every once in a while when I press the power button to turn it on it does not. Sometimes I have to press it three to four times. I do check the wiring, the connections, my router etc. and its not that because it began doing things a few months after I bought it. It doesn’t happen every time, maybe a few times per year but once it powers on it works well. The optical driver is somewhat slow but it works. I bought this when a power surge blew out my previous desktop and it was on sale and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Its smaller than other HP’s that I’ve had and it feels like its cheaply made but still its a good desktop for a student or someone that needs a desktop for surfing the internet and casual use. Definitely not for gamers.
