Originally I was looking for a Dell computer, but the Best Buy sales person highly recomended this one instead. It was easy to setup and the internet is plenty fast enough for our needs (just surfing the web mostly). Price ($649) seems good for these specs. Just hoping that it will last for a long time. Only time will tell.

We needed a new computer because ours was 7 years old and the power supply was starting to go out. This is a much smaller unit than our previous one, but it is much faster and has serveral new features. I'm still getting used to Windows 10 and its components, but my son is computer literate and he can help out us older folks. Finding apps and programs is easy using either Kortana or the start menu. The storage capacity is just right for us and my son's many computer games. So far, this is a pretty nice machine with fast startup and shut down times.

Right after purchase I had trouble turning the machine on and discovered that the firmware needed to be updated. Now it runs great - very fast. Also because of the SSD, visit settings so that you save data files to the "D" drive and put programs on the SSD. I bought it on sale, so got a good price.

Had an 8 year old desk top that was close to the end and went shopping for a new one. Discovered this HP to be just the thing we needed - and it was on sale which clinched the deal. Its as fast as a New York minute and quiet as a mouse.

I've been really pleased with the upgrade to i7. This baby doesn't choke on any of my applications, and I can run my multiple monitor setup with applications running simultaneously. Everything renders smoothly. Note I do not game.

It is a lot faster and easy to use and after Geek,s worked there magic transferring all of our information from the old to the new, we are extra happy with the new unit. Went back to a HP unit they are one of the best.

I have had this computer for about 6 weeks now no complaints! I love how it runs, and was easy to set up. I do some work with this computer and I play a few games on it. I have had HP for years and love this computer.

Replaced a 7 year old tower. Smaller lighter newest connect points. Actually built for Win10. The SSD/HDD combination works very well for me. Much faster access speeds but a terabyte hard drive for all my stuff. I like it a lot.

Excellent computer, very fast. You can definitely see the performance improvement from the solid state drive. We'll worth the additional money. Have had the computer for a month and have had no negative issues at all.

What I like about this desktop: Very fast, smaller and lighter than the older models, wireless keyboard, mouse and internet (huge pluses) I don't like microsoft's continous and irritating attempts to switch my browser from Chrome to their browser. I would buy this desktop top again.

Originally I purchased a Dell but it was lacking some peripheral capabilities plus I was scammed by an alleged Microsoft office support person. In working with Best Buy management, they were phenomenal in allowing my to trade the new corrupted Dell box in for this HP box. I have used HP systems in the past and have found them reliable. The solid state drive is fast, boot time is quick, and I like the various USB, SD card, and Bluetooth support. Best Buy was excellent to work with in setting up this system too. It came with wireless keyboard and mouse. I was pleased with system purchase.

Really like this PC. We typically browse the net and do some office work on it and store pics, check emails and some other light use. Not a gamer or need incredible speed or graphics - works very well for our needs.

I've been a loyal HP customer for years now. This desktop is great. Really love the solid state drive - windows and other programs open instantaneously now. One word of caution - you need to change the default save places for pictures, music, etc.. Otherwise it will try to save everything on the solid state drive and ignore the hard drive. I found directions on how to do this on a forum.

This is a great desktop tower. It is compact, fast and has lots of ports/slots for everything you need. I was surprised at the fast speed. I'd recommend this tower to anyone for use as a home desktop computer.

Having run its course after 12 years the HP Pavilion is far more practical and ease to install and along with my large screen monitor easy on the eyes. More in importantly it takes up less space!

I am very pleased with this computer, it has plenty of memory for what I use it for! Very quick boot time, easy to hook up! Price is good for this much memory and speed!! SATISFIED so far with it!!

This is the best very fast speed. It works for all my business needs and our family needs. Tons of storage. Would highly recommend, even for games.

Bought on sale. Just need something basic. Works really well. Very satisfied with performance. Good amount of storage and speed. Only complaint is that the power cord is a little sensitive. Can be unplugged easily from the back of the computer. Everything else is great.

Excellent value, very quite running and light weight and compact. I had a little trouble getting us to Windows 10 though, but that got better with time.

With the 128GB boot drive, windows boots fast and 12 GB of memory runs it fine, 1 TB of storage to store data is nice. Attractive case with the silver and just the right size for a tower.
