- Answer NO, it does not. You will need a Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI dongle or a dock.

QuestionDisappointed. Purchased the previous version for my retail store as a point of sale system. The BestBuy's sale's rep told me it was the newest and latest one. than I saw this. Is the new one that much of a difference to trade in for this newer version?

QuestionHow big of an issue is heat in this machine? Internal heat issues is ultimately what killed my current/old HP, and I need to be able to comfortably use this on my lap while I travel. Does this get hotter than is safe/comfortable during normal usage?

- Answer Mine got a bit warm during basic usage, even with the fans on. It's something I wouldn't really worry about, but seems like thermals could've been better.

QuestionCan the usb-c ports be used to charge the computer from an usb charger such as my car's or an external battery?

- Answer Only the back USB-C port is used for charging, and as long as you have 5vdc you are OK. You will in no way charge as quickly as from the supplied HP charger, but it will charge as long as your car is on. Some newer 2014 plus vehicles have off charing, but I would not leave my laptop plugged in if away from the car for any serious amount of time. Since your laptop will not jump your cars battery.

- Answer HP has given no indication they're doing this one in copper. It looks like they are trying to narrow down the line some at this point with fewer builds and options. The copper is definitely cool but the silver is a stunner in its own right. Absolutely gorgeous machine.
