“I just purchased the spectre x360 model which is supposed to get 12 hours of battery life. I am only getting 4 hours right our of the box with only surfing the internet and checking e-mail . What type of battery life are you getting with this model?”

What screen settings do you have it on? I get 8-10 hours streaming movies on 50% brightness, get a little more if you turn battery saver on.

I have to be sure to keep the charging cord with me, which somewhat lessens my goal of having a computer that is easy to keep on hand. Gave it 4 stars. I would have given it five if charge lasted longer.

Please try again later.I usually have mine plugged in, but if I am not charging 5 other items through a USB tower which is always plugged in, and has it's own energy source (as well) I am getting about 9-10 hours, depending on how I have it setup for power usage. You can drop a lot of things that run in the background for longer battery life. If this is the newest i7 processor, keep in mind that you will eventually want some c connectors as there is only one standard USB port on the newest version. last years version had 2.This is the best HP I have ever used. Well worth the money at almost the same price as a macbook that is overrated for what this can do.
