Yes, this is a WiFi only printer. It does still needs to be connected to the wall outlet. WiFi just means the printer is connected to your wireless network.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If by electric you mean ethernet, or wired internet connection, then unfortunately it does not have a port to do so. So, only WiFi. It does emit its own WiFi though, so it would be possible to connect devices to it as long as they’re close by. Not connecting to WiFi will lose you some key features though, like the ability to print from anywhere and also being able to use useful features like AirPrint (for Apple devices).
