There are a couple of possibilities: If you removed the smaller of the m.2 cards, that's actually the WiFi card, so that's why you don't have WiFi. If you removed the larger one, that's actually the SSD, but it was empty there's no operating system, so the computer doesn't know how to look for the WiFi. You should also get error messages when you try and start the computer. If you install a clean copy of Windows to that drive, that should give you access to your WiFi.
