The 3-cell 52.5wh Li-ion polymer battery has a life of 5 hours and 45 minutes (8 hours and 45 minutes for video playback) and supports fast-charging - up to 50% in 45 minutes. (Note that battery life can be affected by settings such as screen brightness, number of active tabs, use of wifi, etc.). The 150w Smart Adapter should not overheat. The loudness of the fan is subjective, but we can tell you that it ramps up (a low, droning sound) under heavy load and lowers when the load lightens.
