Just assuming and not speaking for Huawei, but most US phones are not dual sim. So the unlocked international version of this phone IS dual sim. Only the US version is not. It was the same way with the Honor phone I bought. But, no phone that I've ever bought, here in the USA has ever had dual SIM either.
