A:AnswerDefinitely does glow blue. Pictures attached are a little blurry since I took them in the dark, but you'll see the blue light effect. The blue light comes from the three cooling fans. One fan is in the back and two fans are on the front. The fan housings are clear plastic and the light radiates through the fan housings and creates the blue glow effect. It is a nice effect and if you don't have it and really wanted it you probably should exchange it. I couldn't find an "on/off" program in the controls. I searched on the web and didn't see any answers. Good luck. Be sure there's not a program somewhere that adjusts the lighting, but I didn't find one on my computer.
