Not a stupid question at all! It TOTALLY can dual monitor, I can't live without that so it's a must on my machine. First (obviously) you need 2 monitors - but make sure that you have the right cable. I had the old VGA cable and had to buy an adapter to HDMI (this is bloody expensive, so save yourself the trouble and just make sure you buy a monitor with the right cable from the get go). Second, there are several ports on the video card, one will go to the HDMI and the other will go to the DVI, for me it didn't matter which one I plugged into which, because I can change the order in the display settings. Hope this helps!
