QuestionI got this computer a few weeks ago. and some games don't run as smooth as people say on here. Maybe it's my monitor? Idk if that'll give me less fps. But squad, arma, and player unknown all can't play on ultra. I have a widescreen monitor.

- Answer Make sure you connected your HDMI to your graphics card and not your I/O for the motherboard. I was running 35 FPS on CS:GO on max settings, when I realized a 1060 should be able to run way more. I figured I didn't connect my HDMI to the GPU, and instead had connected it to the motherboard. Now I get 280+ FPS on CS:GO.

QuestionWhen I try to open the NVIDIA Control Panel an error message pops up saying "NVIDIA Display settings are not available; You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU." I also am getting low frame rates on games on low settings. Help?

- Answer You need to plug your monitor into the dedicated graphics card (GPU), not into the motherboard's HDMI output. When looking at the back of the case, the connections near the top arranged vertically are the motherboard, the graphics card will be below that, with connections arranged horizontally. The GPU should also say MSI on it, if your model is exactly like mine.

- Answer Everything can pre-installed. They do however, give you the disks in case anything happens and you to re-install. If you get the care program with the anti virus it gives you a product code to download from the website.

- Answer I'm using the keyboard right now but the mouse is a little weird. If I scroll up and down it changes the volume for some reason. The lights on the keyboard and mouse don't turn off. Some Pros would be the mouse has 5 buttons and the keyboard is very comfortable.

Questionthis pc comes with an led remote that doesnt seem to work initially. is there something extra that needs to be done to stop the constant strobing of the fan led?

- Answer The remote has a very SHORT range. It has to be aimed at a very specific spot. Right above the tower where the holes for ventilation are at. Aim the controller straight down from up top. I had the same issue as you initially, it is a little annoying to have to do it that way but it seemed to work for me. I will be posting a picture later when I am home to show you where to aim it.

- Answer Most higher price computers with i7 and gtx 1060 is coming with more memory like 250gb ssd or higher and watercolor for the cpu instead of a factory fan.

- Answer This computer can run Minecraft at around 200-500 fps WITHOUT optifine on default settings. I'd say it averages 300 fps. If you only plan to play Minecraft with this PC, then I'd suggest going for a lower priced one because this computer would be overkill for it but thats up to you to decide. Overall, it's a really great and quiet PC.

QuestionIs the 1060 3G good for now ? Will it support the 1080 8 or 12 gig for an upgrade?

- Answer The 1060 3.6 ghz is MORE than enough for ANY game, you name it, Star Citizen max graphics, Arma 3(even modded EXILE/Life) ultra graphics, skyrim remastered with 80 mods still 60 FPS (capped so could be much higher) on ultra, World of Tanks 120 FPS (capped and steady so could me much higher on ultra), Warthunder 240 FPS (Ive seen as high as 400) on ultra. I would wait to upgrade until the 1080s are cheaper because its so much more expensive... why? You can already run anything you want on ultra with GREAT FPS(50+ is best), 16 GB of ram is already future proof, wont need more than that anytime soon and just so you know I play all of these games with the FPS mentioned with discord AND teamspeak, AND steam, AND websites open in the background playing music from youtube... u will be fine

- Answer Ideally, you should keep your SSD drive space available for your operating system, drivers and maybe a program or two. The SSD is only 120gb, so I wouldn't fill it up with games if I were you. If the drive had more space, I would say put steam and your games on it. Will the games load faster on an SSD drive? Absolutely. But, if you are playing mostly online games, you shouldn't notice a difference aside from the load time to start the program.

- Answer When you set it up all you have to do is plug it in and go through a short configuration, this involves PC preferences of language and other details. It's all very self explanatory and easy to do.

- Answer It is important to make such an investment only after doing your research first. No, it does not have an optical drive given the decline in software being accessed via this medium; most are digital downloads now. A quick search on Amazon yielded several decent options if you need to run your old discs for $15-$30 or so. I've also included an example recommended from Best Buy's product inventory. Hope this helps!
