The 1060 3.6 ghz is MORE than enough for ANY game, you name it, Star Citizen max graphics, Arma 3(even modded EXILE/Life) ultra graphics, skyrim remastered with 80 mods still 60 FPS (capped so could be much higher) on ultra, World of Tanks 120 FPS (capped and steady so could me much higher on ultra), Warthunder 240 FPS (Ive seen as high as 400) on ultra. I would wait to upgrade until the 1080s are cheaper because its so much more expensive... why? You can already run anything you want on ultra with GREAT FPS(50+ is best), 16 GB of ram is already future proof, wont need more than that anytime soon and just so you know I play all of these games with the FPS mentioned with discord AND teamspeak, AND steam, AND websites open in the background playing music from youtube... u will be fine
