I am not sure what you mean by built in Wi-Fi? It is able to connect to internet wireless, which you would have that option under internet "settings " you may need your modem security pass word , but other than that switch to wireless under the settings feature for internet . I also added a blue tooth adapter that plugs into the usb slots to listen to my speakers . I love it .
