• Yes, you should add virus protection. The computer just comes with Windiws defender which does not provide very much protection. You can purchase virus software from a lot of different places. McAfee and Kaspersky are a couple. Just go to Google and search on virus software, and then take your pick.

• Honestly its personal preference. Windows defender is sufficient enough as is. I bought malwarebytes premium because it was on sale when I purchased the pc. But overall anti virus software and vpns and such is preference. It's not necessarily a must to get with this pc.
