Yes it automatically let's you know that you have z free upgrade for the game and you can use that rather than the disc.

Yes. I bought ps4 version and got the free upgrade when I installed it on my ps5.

Yes, it does. You have to "purchase" it from the PS Store for free to add it to your library once the disc is in, but it's there.

"Upgrade to PlayStation 5 Version: Immortals Fenyx Rising PlayStation 4 game on Blu-Ray Disc must be kept inserted in a PlayStation 5 console to play the corresponding Immortals Fenyx Rising PlayStation 5 digital version at no additional cost, when available."
