• It is COMPATIBLE with USB 3.0, but is limited to RS-232 speeds. But yes, it will be recognized when plugged into a USB 3.0 slot and the drivers should load just fine to allow you to communicate with the piece of equipment that has the RS-232 interface.

• Yes. Backwards compatiable, so while you won't get 3.0 speeds, it will work in a USB 3.0 port.

• Yes...and no. This only has a USB 2.0 plug on it, so it will plug into a USB 3.0 port, but not run at full speed.
