“In order to connect the hose, does it require a threaded faucet? - We live in an apartment, and our kitchen (or bathroom) sink does not have either inside or outside thread. Will I be able to connect the hose to my faucet?? Thank you!”

Yes it requires a threaded faucet / if there is a screen filter on your faucet it will unscrew and then you can screw on the hose adapter/quick connect hose connection. If there is no screen/filter on your faucet I'm sure there are other connectors at a hardware store that would work with the fill hose. It appears easily adaptable to different types of faucet connections.
