I had this happen with a previous brand shredder. I took of the top, unplugged it, and used the smallest flat head screwdriver I had to clean out all the crumbs stuck in between the rolling cutter blades. Another thing that helped was buying a bottle of shredder lube and putting it along the outside where you insert the paper, then flipping it over and doing the blades underneath. Started working again for another 2-3 years, and then the motor burned out. I got 10 years of heavy use out of it (I work from home, and with other businesses that send me confidential docs to be able to do a cost analysis to save them money. Once I signed them, or got a no go I shredded their stuff out of respect for their trust.....we're talking 50-100 pages a day, 5 days a week.
