“What is the maintenance process to extend the life of the machine”

• Nothing in the manual talks about maintenance. I am going by my old shredder that said after a basket is full to use shredder oil.

• I saw on another site when I was looking for new shredder was selling a oil that I guess you put on rollers as it is shredding.havent tried it yet.

• Always empty the paper been as frequent as possible. you don’t want it to get so full to where the already shredded paper starts backing up into the shredding cylinders, that will cause it to work harder and you could possibly burn out the motor from Excessive heat buildup from overloading it. But there pretty much maintenance free

• There is really no maintenance to it. However; after I am finished using my Shredder, I always vacuum out the underside of the cutting machine.
