• If your printer has an ethernet port, i would think so, but you should do more research. Maybe read the printe'rs user manual.

• The short answer is you probably don't want to, it is probably easier to use a standard usb printer cable.... The longer answer is yes if you have a switch/hub/router with multiple rj45 or Ethernet ports like this cable connection ... With a little configuration yes you can.

• If it is a network ready printer with Ethernet port, then yes, although you will probably want to use a network hub or router assuming your laptop only has one Ethernet port.

• Probably need a sub cable for your printer. If your printer has an Ethernet connection, you require a print server.

• Probably not. Cat-5 is a network cable. Your probably need a USB cable for the printer.

• Based on my experience, probably not. It really depends on what type of inputs your printer will accept. You'd get a much better answer by asking the printer manufacturer. They will know the proper inputs for their machine.
