Do your computer or dash camera have HDMI connections? HDMI is substantially different from USB.

So long as your dash cam has a HDMI port it will work. Some cams use a mini HDMI port so you might need an adapter in that case.

Discord will hook to the TV and back to the computer so you can stream off your computer

It's it's a normal size hdmi on both devices then probably. Read your instructions for your dash cam and you wouldn't have to ask this question.

It doesn't sound like it. Depending on what type of dash-cam you have... You'll probably need an HDMI to micro or mini HDMI.* Check your manual on your camera.

*Note: Micro and Mini HDMI are very different cable ends make sure you get the right one for your application.
