You have to purchase an HDMI cable, it includes a power cable and remote.

All you will have in the box is the tv, remote, and manual. If you have any other devices such as blu ray player that requires an HDMI cable, you will have to buy that separately. The tv doesn't come with any HDMI cables at all.

I used the hdmi cable from computer to non smart TV to stream video. It worked great. As far as TV hook up to cable; I called my cable provider (Time Warner ) and they put in an order to my local office for pick up of the digital converter box and other needed cables. There was no cost for anything. Call your cable company and ask what you're going to need. They should provide all the cables,splitters,ect as well as, complete instructions for self install.
