“Will the lid stay open if not raised to the 90 degree angle? I am buying to put in an area underneath a stairwell and need to know if I can buy this one or have to drop down to a 10 cu ft model.”

The lid only opens to about 75 degrees, and stays open by itself at about 45 degrees.
