When I first get it do I have to wait to plug it up? null

The manual recommends waiting 4 hours in case it wasn't properly transported. If it remains upright during delivery, you won't have to wait, but if it was on its side, it's best to wait to allow the oil to flow back into the compressor. Mine was delivered upright, but they put it on its side to unpack it and get the packing material off. I waited about an hour before plugging it in to give the oil time to get back where it belongs.
