“Has anyone heard any loud knocking noises with this unit? I looked at the back and noticed a white container filled with water above the compressor. There was a drain hole right above the white container. Happened just 3 weeks after purchase.”

My noises are not loud and knocking but sound like a whining cat. I know this does not answer your question but who knows maybe we both have surprise sounds to come.
