• Yes, it is perfect for refrigerators. I am using one there as well as all my TVs, dishwasher, washer and dryer etc.,.. anywhere a large surge protector will not fit or would be obvious out in the open.

• It is not recommend connecting a refrigerator or freezer to a surge protector. The compressor is sensitive to temperature and current overloads, and will shut itself down with a surge. By hooking up a surge protector will override this system, and if there is a power surge, your refrigerator may not restart.
