“Is there a safety so that it does not change easily from freezer to refrigerator mode? I'm worried about frozen food thawing on accident.”

• The control panel has an electronic "lock" that prevents inadvertently changing the setup. You have to hold down the LOCK button for 3 seconds in order to change the temperature or the mode.

• You have to manually switch modes. The only way it would thaw is a breakdown.
