“My Panasonic Plasma TV switches off after 30 minutes when connected through the Insignia HDMI switch. When I connect my cable/Apple TV/other providers directly to TV, there's no problem. This appears to an issue with the Insignia product. Any solutions?”

This product can pass CEC commands from your source devices. Try to turn off that CEC feature on your devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is nothing wrong with your unit, It’s the encryption imbedded on the HDMI. You will need to use a splitter that is compatible with HDCP. Place it before the HDMI switcher and everything will be back to normal.
