Please try again later.No this won't work for that application, you'll need a splitter that splits your cable output 3 ways however I've only seen Best Buy sell a 2 way splitter. This device would let you take 3 different HDMI outputs say from cable, xbox and Nintendo and plug them into this device and then run 1 HDMI into the TV. I have 2 of these running to my TV, thus connecting 6 devices (xbox one, xbox 360, pS4, and ps3, Wii U and playstation classic) into 2 HDMI ports on TV. This device helps you select which of the 3 will output to specific HDMI input on TV. Hope this helps.
