“hello, i just got my unit yesterday. the unit will kick in hard with the ac, then around 10-15min later kick into what i’m guessing is just fan, then kick back on with ac. is this normal? is it just regulating temperature?”

This is normal operation. But if it happens to frequently you may have purchased a unit that is too large for the space. When it comes to AC, bigger is not better. You need to size the unit appropriately for the space it is cooling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because its in Auto mode. Meaning once the temp gets to what you have it set at the air will stop but the fan will keep running. Its how that setting is supposed to work. Now if you want the unit to keep running with the same temp and dont stop put it on COOL setting.
