“Do I need 2 of these cables to hook up a new DVD Blue Ray 4K Player, or only one? I just bought a Panasonic Blue Ray Disc Player Model # DP-UB420”

• I used one end into the Apple TV piece and the other into the TV. I would’ve done the same with this cable. One to the TV the other side to your DVR Hope this is helpful

• Basically for every external devise (Blue ray play, DVD player and or Gaming system) each will need to be hooked up to your TV. So each one will require its own cable.
