“I’m buying these for my daughter’s room, she has been asking for these for a while. Is there a good way to attach them to the wall without having the cord hanging down? If I cut them to fit the length of the wall how will they still work correctly?”

If you have outlets on the wall then the cord will need to run up to the ceiling. You can use the mounting tape and screws on the IR remote receiver to mount it to the wall then run the LED power cables/connectors up towards the ceiling. As for cutting, any parts that you cutoff won't work unless they are attached to the existing lights. I wouldn't recommend cutting any LED lights unless you have gone the entire length of all four walls. Then you can cutoff the excess that you will never use.
