That is not what this USB is for. You need something that can provide a lot of current. This device only provides enough to maintain signal when connecting multiple devices for functional use, not for charging.

No. This is not a charger, really. They make multi port charging stations— a usb hub is not designed to be a cheap version of a charger.

I use it to charge stuff, but it would be cheaper to just buy one of those 110 watts, two pronged plug-ins with a USB port on top of it, to charge something.
