• No, using it in portrait mode would void the warranty. The TV would not be able to properly vent in that position.

• It is possible. However, not with the included stand. You would have to get another wall or desk mounted stand.

• Yes, you'll need to make the change in Windows to display in portrait mode. You'll find what you need in the screen resolution section of windows. You can test it out now on your current monitor to get a feel for it.
