“Would this tv be good for hooking up to a pc and using as a 4k monitor. I know my current 2k monitor doesn't use the full resolution except through the display port. I don't know if you could get 4k from a computer with hdmi. My graphics card is a gtx970.”

I bought this 4K UHD TV to serve primarily as a computer monitor, and I'm glad that I did.' It is excellent and easily up to the job.

Please try again later.I bought two of these to use as a PC monitor...one from a Toshiba P55WC i5 5200 2.3Ghz 16MB laptop with a built in Intel Graphics 5500 and the other from a CyberPower PC with i5 6600K 3.5Ghz 16MB with GeForice GTX 1050Ti card. I use these for trading stocks so I have stock charts on the monitors as the main use. The colors look fine but the text output could be a little better. Text is readable but could be a little more crisper...it kind of has a dull look to it. Dragging the charts or other text pages back to the laptop screen or smaller 24" ViewSonic monitor, the text is crisp and fine. I'm not sure if there is a setting that I am missing so if you know something please pass this info along to me. The monitors should be fine for gaming if that is what you are looking for but for text output, you might want to do a little more research. Again, if you have clear and bright text output. Please let me know what your settings are. Thanks.
