“Is there a center mounted stand that will work with this TV? It appears the two "feet" may not work with the surface of our current TV shelf so hoping for a center (single footed) stand that is compatible?”

That's the only downside with this TV used a piece of wood to Anchor the two legs together and use that as a stand plywood works pretty good half inch
