A:Answer Yes, we were up and running in about 5 mins. Only set up was in naming the other components that we plugged into it (DVR, Streaming, Off the Air etc.) so when you cycle through your inputs you know exactly what you are shifting to. It also has a voice assist which can speak the instructions on the screen or announce what channels you shift to that my wife found helpful
